Tom Schneider, founder and Executive Chairman of ISA TanTec, has passed away at the age of 70.
Tom Schneider was a respected entrepreneur, an industry pioneer and a strong supporter of innovation and sustainability in leather manufacturing. Through ISA TanTec, he built a globally recognised group and was among the first to make environmental performance, traceability and responsible production central to business strategy.

We shared many enriching discussions in Vienna, Hong Kong and China, often reflecting on leather authenticity, traceability, LCA allocation for hides and skins, sustainability and innovation — all the subjects that define the future of our sector.
