OVERVIEW

I got into the leather industry about 10 years ago. If I could, I would have started much earlier, because being a leather craftsman was always what I wished for.

I work as a team-leader at the company. My expectations of my team are the same high level expectations my leaders have of me, as the only way to be a successful team is if everyone always tries to give his best.

Like each single hide, every day is different, and we face new challenges day by day. The quality of the product is very important, as is the value we add to the work. These two things help us to meet the quality requirements of our customers.

In my position, it is very important to build and maintain a good relationship with my colleagues as the work they do reflects on me.

I like my job, I like to deal with people, and based on their feedback, they like to work with me. That’s the reason why I have a good team. Even though we all work for money, for me, this is not what matters the most.

Like I said, no two hides are alike and that makes our work varied and gives us new challenge every day. If you want to be a part of a great community and a successful team, I can only recommend my industry.
